In an audacious quest to metamorphose into a “black alien,” a man renowned as the world’s “most modified man” has taken the extraordinary step of severing two of his fingers, rendering his hand into a claw-like form.
Anthony Loffredo, a 33-year-old from France, is resolute in his mission to redefine his appearance, with a track record of bifurcating his tongue, excising his nose, and adorning his body with tattoos and piercings.
Despite having undertaken a series of astonishing alterations, including the removal of his upper lip earlier this year, Anthony asserts that he has only reached 34 percent of his envisioned transformation.
For over a decade, Anthony has engaged in radical body modifications, often at considerable risk, including undergoing procedures like eyeball tattooing that temporarily jeopardized his vision.
His willingness to push boundaries led him to surgically remove both his ears in his pursuit of an extraterrestrial aesthetic, alongside other changes such as tongue-splitting.
Anthony has traversed the globe for his various transformations, seeking medical procedures abroad due to their illegality in his native France. Last year, he traveled to Spain to undergo surgical nose removal.
His facial features are further enhanced by dermal implants, resulting in a textured appearance, with defined lines carved across his cheekbones.
On his Instagram account, the Black Alien Project, which boasts a following of 718,000, Anthony shares his remarkable evolution, repeatedly astonishing his audience with his unwavering commitment to altering his physical identity.
In a post-surgery image, Anthony showcased his latest endeavor, the creation of an “alien claw,” displaying a bloodied, stitched scar on his hand, accompanied by the caption “I develop my inner peace.”
While his audacious modifications frequently incite divisive reactions, Anthony’s boldness earns him both praise and skepticism among his followers.
A commentator said, “This is unsettling and intriguing at the same time. I don’t believe I could embark on such a path, but I salute you for pursuing your aspirations.”
Another congratulated Anthony, stating, “Congratulations on moving forward with the project. it is incredibly wonderful.”
However, detractors weighed in as well, with one asserting, “Blatant disrespect to those that are unfortunate to have lost limbs and look for ways to function as the human body should.”
Amid the varied responses, Anthony remains steadfast in his journey of transformation, a journey he has been passionate about since a young age.
“I experienced a pivotal moment during my time as a security guard,” he shared with French newspaper Midi Libre back in 2017. “I came to the realization that I wasn’t leading the life I truly desired. At the age of 24, I made the radical decision to leave everything behind and embark on a journey to Australia. Over time, it has become second nature, almost instinctual, for me to constantly envision and strategize my plans for the upcoming months.”
