Brutal Kate Middleton accusation confirms our worst fears. We didn’t see this coming… Check Comments.
Kate Middleton’s Mother’s Day photo is still causing a commotion as it was taken down shortly after being published for editing purposes.
Portrait photographer Martin Bamford wrote on X, “I am a professional photographer. Take a close look at Princess Charlotte’s wrist. This is the result of layering in Photoshop. I’m not making any assumptions about why the photo was edited this way, but it’s strange.”
The Princess accepted responsibility for altering the photo.
She posted on her and William’s official X account, “As an amateur photographer, I sometimes try out editing. I’m sorry if the family photo we posted yesterday caused any confusion. I hope all the moms had a great Mother’s Day celebration. C.”
Kensington Palace confirmed they would not release the original, unedited photo of Kate and her children again.
The Associated Press, Reuters, Getty Images, and Agence France-Presse have all chosen to send out “kill notices,” which are advisory messages requesting the removal or non-usage of a particular photo.
“It appears that the source has manipulated the image,” the Associated Press notification read.
They also made a statement, stating that the photo initially published by the Associated Press and issued by Kensington Palace was later retracted. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that the source had manipulated the image in a manner that did not meet the AP’s photo standards. The photo revealed an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.
The Palace is facing immense pressure due to the photo problem, as stated by royal expert Katie Nicholl.
Nicholl mentioned that it is quite unusual for four international picture agencies to have removed this image.
I haven’t seen a royal image brought up in the 15 years I’ve been working. This is very rare and could make Kensington Palace take action.
During an interview on BBC Radio 4’s Media Show, Phil Chetwynd, AFP’s global news director, stated that Kensington Palace cannot be relied upon as a credible source anymore.
He mentioned that when disappointed by a source, the expectations increase. They have informed all teams to be extra careful about the content they receive, even from trusted sources.
He added that kill notices are usually reserved for sources such as North Korea.
Killing something through manipulation is not common. We might do it once a year, hopefully even less. The past killings were attributed to the North Korean news agency or the Iranian news agency, according to Chetwynd.
It’s crucial not to misrepresent reality to the public. Trust is a big concern, especially the declining trust in institutions and the media. Therefore, it’s vital for a photo to accurately reflect the reality it captures.
The edited image controversy intensified the situation as both Kate and the Palace were already under fire for not sharing details about her health and location.
The Sun’s royal photographer, Arthur Edwards, mentioned that the Princess of Wales learned a difficult lesson in a very public way by breaking an important rule.
Edwards stated that it’s important to remember not to alter the image itself when cropping a picture. Kate made a mistake, but she owned up to it quickly. He also mentioned that social media has been filled with negative comments about her.
Now, the conspiracies are spreading rapidly – not that these individuals require any encouragement. These unfair attacks on Kate will surely distress her.
Some experts, including Edwards, believe that the Palace could have ended the speculations if they had shared the original photo without any edits.
Naturally, there has been a lot of talk about Kate’s whereabouts, as none of us have seen her since December, except for a couple of pictures. Many, myself included, are waiting for news on how the Princess of Wales is doing after her surgery in January.
Edwards mentioned that even though the photo may have been edited poorly, he still finds it charming. Kate appears happy and proud on Mother’s Day, with her children surrounding her. The picture is filled with love and emotion.
According to royal expert Hilary Fordwich, the palace is accountable for what she refers to as “another public relations catastrophe.”
Fordwich stated that a “reduced monarchy” implies that fewer individuals are leading the royals, and those who are in charge lack the necessary media skills. In today’s fast-paced world with technology-driven media platforms, the palaces should recruit the most talented and knowledgeable individuals in these fields.
Fordwich expressed that although this situation is not typical for a royal household, it demonstrates admirable humility to acknowledge one’s mistakes. Instead of staying quiet or shifting the blame onto someone else, Kate chose to apologize straightforwardly and without any unnecessary complications. There is much to be learned from her actions.
Is the Palace doing everything necessary to ensure Kate Middleton’s safety? According to royal expert and author Tom Bower, they are falling short.
People worldwide simply desire to bring her down for their own enjoyment. And when she finally did, they should have hired a professional photographer to ensure that no issues like the current one would arise. Bower informed The Sun about this.
He continued: “She’s undergone the most very serious operation imaginable. She needs a long time to recover. And I fear that she has been under terrible pressure to perform and instead of protecting her, her staff in Kensington Palace, failed to give her the support and protection she needs.”
Furthermore, Bower suggests that the primary priority for the Palace should be assisting Kate in achieving a full recovery rather than publishing additional pictures.
Version 1: Some republicans and troublemakers are eager to act immediately and dismantle the monarchy, as well as undermine British values and traditions. They view Kate as an easy target to achieve their goals.
Kate Middleton ended the conspiracy theories on March 22 by sharing a video where she revealed to the public that she is undergoing cancer treatments.
