Reactions to Hoda Kotb’s exit from the “Today Show” have been heated, and some viewers have made an unexpected request about the other anchors.

Despite all of these responses, Kotb’s time at NBC continues to be the high point of her history. For almost thirty years, she has been a well-liked character on the network.
She began her career at “Dateline” and then became a regular on the “Today Show,” co-hosting a number of segments, most notably with Bush Hager, who has been with NBC since 2009, and Kathie Lee Gifford.
Since joining the “Today Show” in 2011, Guthrie has held the positions of co-anchor and chief legal reporter for NBC.
