The birthday picture of Meghan Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, that the royal family posted online was cut out.
The Duke of Sussex got birthday wishes on X from his father, King Charles III, as well as from Prince William and Kate Middleton, his brother and sister-in-law, on Sunday.
They chose to utilize a 2018 picture of Harry beaming broadly while visiting Dublin’s Dogpatch Labs to commemorate his 40th voyage around the sun.
But in the original photo, he was seated at a table with numerous other people, and his wife, Markle, was smiling directly next to him.
For the first time in three years, Harry’s birthday was publicly recognized by the royal family thanks to the shout-out.
Charles’s office at Buckingham Palace maintains the official X account of the royal family, and it commented, “Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”
The message was published on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official account, along with the addition, “Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!”
According to The Post, on his special day, Harry would also get a call from a few of his estranged cousins.
