Tennis legend, 36-year-old Anna Kournikova, welcomed a baby boy named Nicholas and a girl named Lucy with her long-time partner, singer Enrique Iglesias, in Miami on Saturday. The couple, together since 2001, is notoriously private about their relationship, and despite rumors of marriage, Enrique has consistently denied it. Earlier this year, he mentioned that his father, Julio, has yet to meet Anna, stating, “They still haven’t met, no. They have to meet at some point.”
While Enrique referred to Anna as his wife during a concert last year and she has been spotted wearing a gold band on her ring finger, he clarified, “We’re just as happy. There comes a point when you’ve been with someone for a certain amount of time that I believe that you are like, married. I guess the only difference is that we haven’t walked down the aisle.”
The couple, who met on the set of Enrique’s 2001 hit “Escape,” is notoriously secretive about their personal lives. In a rare insight into their relationship, Enrique shared a glimpse into their normal sex life, saying, “I’ve never had sex anywhere weird, well, what I’d consider weird. I don’t know, like in the doctor’s office.”
This summer, Enrique collaborated with last year’s X Factor winner, Matt Terry, for a new version of his hit “Subeme La Radio” (Turn Up The Radio), featuring Sean Paul. Terry, fluent in Spanish after living in Spain for eight years, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Enrique asked me to be part of this track, which is amazing.”
