Vanna White expressed her heartfelt tribute to Pat Sajak before his last episode on Wheel of Fortune.
In the latest episode of the popular game show, White paid tribute to Sajak’s valuable contributions and their long-lasting friendship. A video segment was presented, featuring clips and photos that highlighted their partnership from the 1980s until now.
White, who is 67 years old, expressed disbelief in the video that tomorrow would be their final show together. He admitted that he struggled to find the right words to describe the significance of the past 41 years, but he was determined to give it a try.
“Eight thousand episodes went by like that.”
The two best friends began co-hosting America’s Game in 1982, when the show premiered on TV, and eventually became one of the most famous duos in television history.
“As the years have gone by, we’ve grown up on television, but we’ve also shared so much more behind the scenes,” As she recalled the pair’s intimate moments, she uttered..
“What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had. And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you,” White added, holding back tears. “You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend, who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”
Following the segment, the two shared a hug on stage.
The famous pair has been on more than 8,000 episodes together. Sajak guides the contestants while White reveals the letters on the board.

Sajak declared last summer that Season 41 of Wheel of Fortune would be his final one, describing it as an amazing journey. Nevertheless, White will continue as a co-host alongside Ryan Seacrest in the upcoming season.
